Newtown Junction
Newtown Junction is the point where the Newtown Branch meets the Reading's Mainline to Bethlehem (SEPTA's Doylestown)/New York Branch (SEPTA's Neshaminy Line/ New Hope (SEPTA's Warminster Branch). Newtown Junction tower still stands, although is now un-manned. In 2005, SEPTA and CSX Transportation entered into agreement to segregate the ex-Reading New York Branch from the SEPTA mainline, meaning that SEPTA's RROC now only controls diverging moves from the mainline to the Newtown Branch.
