Your Message	You can submit this form with the prefilled text below, or type your own message to your elected officials The reactivation of commuter rail service on SEPTA’s R8 Fox Chase-Newtown line is an important issue to me that will help foster long term growth and sustainability in our region. I hearby request my elected officials to make this a regional priority at the DVRPC and SEPTA by commissioning a feasibility study and alternatives analysis on the Newtown corridor. This expansion will support regional growth for residents and businesses in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, and will reduce dependence on automobiles as the sole means of transportation for many parts of Bucks County that the Newtown line serves. This project will create jobs, and support existing industry in the region and would make an excellent stimulus package for our region’s economy. Thank you for your support for the R8 project.
